Frequently asked questions

Does this re-render the pages?

No. We only update the rotation flag in the PDF metadata, so the page content is preserved bit-for-bit and the file size stays the same.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The rotation runs in your browser via pdf-lib. The PDF never leaves your device.

Can I rotate every page differently?

Yes. Use the per-page dropdowns to pick a different angle for each page.

Why does the rotation 'add up' to my existing rotation?

If a page is already rotated 90° and you add 90°, the result is 180°. We rotate relative to the existing angle so you never lose the original orientation by accident.

What if I need to generate PDFs already correctly oriented?

TemplateFox lets you set page size and orientation per template — generate them right the first time with our API or no-code integrations.

Will rotating change the file's quality or size?

No. Because we only flip the rotation metadata, the PDF stream is untouched — quality is identical to the source and the file size barely changes.
